Wow, even longer this time. My Dad's been sick and it's been a busy summer around the house. The shed is done.

Wow, it's been a long time since an update! The pool hole is being filled with concrete I'm breaking out of the patio. The last of the bedrooms has been painted, varnished and new wood floor put in. I updated my IR resume on this site.

I did a 34 mile ride in cold weather last Sunday. Halfway through, we hit sleet, then snow. The snow didn't stick and the roads didn't freeze, but I hung my bike up for the winter when I got home.
On the home front, the pool is out, the back deck is out and most of the garbage is gone. Old lights were removed in the basement and track lighting installed over the fireplace.

The spamming problem has been solved. I am beginning work on the house again and hope to continue riding even through most of the cold weather.

Spammers have got my email at mikedubrick.com. I have taken the few steps I could. If any of you out there get spam from what looks like my site, it's not.

I turned 58 this week. I looked back on a few significant accomplishments: I lost 20 lbs, completed an ARRT certificate, I made contact with my brother and an old friend and did that century. Things are good.
